It was named after the edible crabs of the region. Besides the beautiful view of the place, Casa Uca is in a strategic place, very close to the boats, and 15 minutes from Jericoacoara.
All rooms, as well as the swimming pool and the restaurant, have views of the sea and the river. It is possible to arrive at the Hotel by kite, even at high tide. Soon, a dock will be ready for the arrival of the boats.

StructureThe Casa Uca masonry structure, with reforestation pines and glass windows, a project designed and executed with the intention of camouflaging the construction in the landscape on the banks of the river Guriú.
On the first floor are Beach Club, restaurant and sophisticated cuisine, which value the local culture, besides deck, pool and external toilets. On the second floor are the rooms, and above, a master suite with balcony of 70 m² and with the capacity to host a family or even a group of kitesurfers.

Casa Uca is a wonderful retreat for you to relax and enjoy the scenery, and there are also tours and activities that are worth checking out, such as Mangrove Guriú, Tatajuba Lagoons (old and new), Tatajuba Beach, and the Bar do Zezinho (local), the Village of Jericoacoara, the Cavalcade, the horseback riding tour, Kite lessons, SUP and Kite tours in the lagoons.
A Casa Ucauses local products, such as fish, that arrive fresh, straight to the table; works with local staff; was built in an ecological way, with reforestation woods; has a partnership with the Government to improve the collection of garbage; does awareness work with the community about the garbage in the region.

Contemporary dishes that value local ingredients, fresh and seasonal, such as those harvested from the organic garden and the fish and crustaceans brought in every morning on fishermen's boats. Chef da Casa, Maira Knox, is formed by the best schools of gastronomy and connects in a unique way the French and Brazilian cuisine.
The region is an excellent place to practice the Kite, because it has a lagoon for freestyle sailing and a good marola at full tide, more to the left side. And for those who want to improve the practice of the sport, we count on the Guriu Kite School, with experienced instructors, equipped with F One 2019 material, with space to store equipment + Spot at 300 meters.
To get to Casa Uca, you can go via the airport of Fortaleza, there rent a car and travel at 4.5hrs to the Hotel. If you choose to go to Cruz, Casa Uca is 1.5hrs. From Jericoacoara, you can choose an amazing adventure and arrive at the hotel by SUP or Kitesurf, or even by buggy or quadricycle.
