The pousada is in a bay of shallow waters and with ideal winds for the practice of kitesurfing and windsurfing, mainly from July to December. The location is also fantastic for those who want to learn the sport. Those who do not sail, can venture by buggy through trails, beaches and dunes to Jericoacoaraor to Barra dos Remédios, elected one of the most beautiful wild beaches in Brazil, located 20 km from Baía das Caraúbas.
Inspired by the desire to keep the Baía das Caraúbas most virgin possible, we built only 7 wooden chalets, raised on stilts, equipped with biodigesters. We have kept the location without access road, and to get to Glamping, our guests are brought by buggy by the beach. Our employees are from the nearest local community and the fish and seafood served in the restaurant are bought from local fishermen.
The menu has been prepared with recipes based on fish and seafood grilled on charcoal, pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven, vegetables and salads from the organic garden, which can be served at lunch and dinner. Plentiful breakfast includes homemade cakes and breads, pies, jams, jams, fruits and tropical fruit juices.
The kitesurfing and windsurfing classes are conducted by two AKB certified instructors, who have their own equipment and are always present. One of these instructors has a school about 5 km away from Baía das Caraúbas.
As we are in a secluded bay, the access is through the beach. We welcome our guests in the boutique hotel Casa de São José in Camocim, from where we offer a transfer by the sand toBaía das Caraúbas, in a path that lasts between 10 and 15 minutes. We also offer transfer service from the airport of Cruz/Jericoacoara.
